YouTuber ‘Count Dankula’ Spars With Piers Morgan Over Alex Jones Returning To X

Popular YouTuber Count Dankula, also known as Mark Meechan, made an appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored this week to talk about free speech and the return of Alex Jones to Elon Musk’s X platform.

Count Dankula first appeared in the news back in 2018 when he was a leftist who felt the wrath of the cancel culture mob over a viral video of his adorable pug mocking Adolf Hitler.

Now, after Jones defended his free speech among the left-wing attacks, Count Dankula is supporting Jones’ reinstatement to the social media platform.

Speaking to Morgan, Dankula explained Musk owns the private company X and can therefore platform whoever he likes, and noted he even left the idea of allowing Jones back to a poll.

When Morgan asked if there should be “a line on free speech,” the YouTuber said, “No,” and the talk show host immediately brought up the Sandy Hook shooting.

Morgan noted Jones had been hit with one of the largest defamation lawsuits in American history over his comments about Sandy Hook and asked Count Dankula if Jones “was entitled to” make the remarks.

Count Dankula stayed firm and confirmed, “I think he had a right to say it,” infuriating the British journalist.

YouTuber and comedian Mark Dice accurately pointed out the hypocrisy of Morgan’s stance against Jones’ right to free speech, writing, “The irony is just too thick. Piers’ show is called ‘Uncensored’ but he’s lobbying for Alex Jones to be censored. What a loser.”

Piers Morgan also aired a monologue focusing on Jones returning to X, laughably claiming he’s a “passionate defender of free speech.”

In the six-minute-long diatribe, Morgan made false and unverifiable claims about Jones and criticized Elon Musk for bringing him back on X.

For example, Morgan told his audience Jones “repeatedly and deliberately lied about the mass shooting of children at school to enrich himself.”

Morgan then falsely claimed Jones only apologized about his comments “under legal duress” when he had actually done so several times years ahead of any lawsuits being filed.

It’s worth noting the Sandy Hook trial had nothing to do with Jones’ removal from Twitter, as he was unjustly taken off the platform for publicly scrutinizing CNN reporter Oliver Darcy in the halls of Congress in 2018.

Many people online pointed out Morgan likely has a personal feud with Jones after the Infowars founder made him look like a fool in a legendary 2013 interview.

Each of the videos below highlights why the establishment is so afraid of Jones’ return:
