‘Why Are So Many Americans Living Paycheck To Paycheck?’: Biden Ignores Questions After Touting Jobs Report

Joe Biden ignored pressing questions about Americans’ exploding cost of living as he tried touting the latest job numbers report on Saturday.

“America’s now in one of the strongest job-creating periods in our history, in the history of our country. It wasn’t that long ago that America was losing jobs. In fact, my predecessor was one of only two presidents in history who entered his presidency and left with fewer jobs than when he entered,” Biden said Friday at the White House.

“We created more jobs in two years than I president ever created in a four year single four year term we did in two years,” the president continued. “We recovered all the jobs lost during the pandemic.”

But when asked why the majority of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck despite higher job numbers, Biden ignored the question and hobbled away.

The monthly jobs report is a favorite metric of the Biden regime because it allows them to create a narrative that more jobs equals more prosperity.

However, other data points completely decimate that talking point, such as the record trade deficit and Americans skyrocketing spending and dwindling savings.

Unlike the jobs report, the trade deficit is a more accurate measure of U.S. productivity. The latest report from the Commerce Department shows a record-high trade deficit, which means Americans are producing less goods and services and are importing more to make up the difference, despite higher jobs numbers.

In other words, Americans are working more but producing less, suggesting the higher jobs numbers really means Americans are taking on multiple jobs.

And higher spending and shrinking savings data from July suggests Americans are paying more for less goods and dipping in their savings to make ends meet.

“Bidenomics” is crushing the American people and Joe Biden and the media’s gaslighting can’t cover that up.
