Watch: KJP Deflects & Dismisses Michigan Islamic Threat, Inflation Concerns
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre offered nothing but her signature deflections, dismissals, and downplays when questioned on a range of issues during a Tuesday press briefing.
When asked if the Biden administration was “concerned” about the possibility of Dearborn, Michigan, becoming a “hotbed” of Islamic extremism following a pro-Palestine rally over the weekend where participants chanted “Death to America”, Jean-Pierre simply shut down the question.
“I don’t have any intelligence to share with you on that,” she said.
“Is the president at all concerned that Dearborn is facing a risk of becoming a hotbed for any sort of homegrown threats?”

When asked if the Biden White House was concerned about a resurgence of inflation as prices continue to rise, Jean-Pierre dismissed the question and insisted the economy was doing great.
REPORTER: Are you concerned inflation might be back on the rise?
KARINE JEAN-PIERRE: Not at all — things are great!

And when asked for clarification about Joe Biden’s accusations that Republicans essentially wanted to kill people by overturning Obamacare, Jean-Pierre attacked the reporter for her “extreme” framing of the question.
Q: Why did Biden suggest Republicans want to kill millions of Americans when he talked about Obamacare? Isn’t he concerned about using that same kind of language he often claims he’s against?
KARINE JEAN-PIERRE: “You’re taking the most extreme definition!” pic.twitter.com/XDkOi6lqyr
