WATCH: Illegals Use Rope Made From Clothes to Cross Rio Grande
A group of migrants used a rope made from articles of clothing to illegally cross the Rio Grande into Texas this week, according to reports.
Independent journalist Auden Cabello shared exclusive aerial footage of the harrowing crossing, which unfolded in the border river between Piedras Negras, Mexico, and Eagle Pass, Texas.
“Eagle Pass has a floating barrier in the middle of the Rio Grande, it has a barrier of concertina wire, a barrier of shipping containers, an Abbot wall, a Bush wall, National Guard, Texas State Troopers, Florida State Troopers, Border Patrol, cameras and none of this deters migrants from arriving to Piedras Negras and crossing into Eagle Pass, TX,” Cabello asserted in a post on social media.
Cabello says the most effective ways to stem the tide of illegal migration into the U.S. are by changing policies at the state and federal levels, and by enforcing laws that are already on the books.
He pointed out that Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has called for additional floating barriers in the Rio Grande, but wonders how effective they will be.
On Sunday, Ramaswamy published a list of proposals for physically securing the southern borders of the U.S. and Central America and de-incentivizing illegal migration.
“Close the Darien Gap through threats of sanctions/tariffs against Colombia, Panama, & Costa Rica, which have for years controlled the flow of migrants,” Ramaswamy said.
“Militarize the Southern Border to be clear about our seriousness & resolve.”
Chaos unfolds constantly along the U.S.-Mexico border, as Infowars regularly reports.
