Watch: Hundreds of Thousands of Pro-Palestinian Protesters Take to London Streets Demanding Israeli Ceasefire in Gaza

Hundreds of thousands of people filled the streets of London to demand Israel cease its relentless attacks on Gaza in its attempt to destroy Hamas.

Stunning scenes from London show the huge scale of the protest.

Mainstream media outlets report at least 100,000 people gathering in the streets, but video from the scene suggests the number could be much higher.

Protesters marched in Victoria Embankment Gardens by the Thames with signs reading “Gaza, Stop The Massacre” and “Free Palestine, End Israeli Occupation.” Others chanted, “Stop arming Israel, stop bombing Gaza” and “Gaza, stop the massacre”, the Sun reported.

Thousands of Metropolitan Police officers have been deployed to deal with the massive crowds, and clashes between them have been observed.

Demonstrators gathered with banners and posters, while others set off fireworks and red and green flares in solidarity with the Palestinian flag.

This comes as Israel launched continuous airstrikes in Gaza for weeks in the wake of Hamas’ Oct. 7 terror attack on the Jewish nation.

Israel cut off power and communications for millions of people trapped in Gaza on Friday before launching the first wave of its ground invasion as tanks and thousands of troops advance on the Palestinian enclave.

The United Nations adopted a resolution on Friday calling for an “immediate, durable and sustained humanitarian truce” after 120 nations voted in favor.

The U.S. and Israel were two of only 14 nations who voted against it.
