WATCH: Boatload of Illegals Storm Malibu Beach
A group of suspected illegal aliens landed a vessel on a beach in one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in California this week and disappeared into the darkness, according to reports.
The incident unfolded on Wednesday in Malibu, a posh enclave for the rich and famous and ‘sanctuary city’ for illegal aliens.
Surveillance footage of the illegal entry was provided to Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin and authorities confirmed a 25-foot panga boat was found sunk nearby along with a debris field that included gas cans and life jackets.
“Video from a contact in Malibu shows a panga boat full of suspected illegal immigrants landing on a beach near his home this week,” Melugin explained in a post on social media.
“Incredibly rare to see this so far north, as Malibu is 100+ miles away from the border.”
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s office told Fox 11 that the wrecked vessel was located by a U.S. Coast Guard crew early on Wednesday morning.
None of the passengers have been found or apprehended at time of this writing, according to the latest available updates.
In late November, U.S. authorities intercepted a pleasure craft carrying nearly two dozen illegal aliens off the coast of Malibu.
“The law enforcement teams arrived on the scene and detained 23 undocumented non-citizens attempting to enter the country illegally,” the Coast Guard said in a press release at the time.
In 2017, officials in Malibu declared the city was a “sanctuary” for illegal aliens.
Councilmembers voted 3-2 to pass a resolution that was inspired by actor Martin Sheen, who “grabbed the lectern during a City Council meeting and — as if conjuring his inner President Josiah Bartlet from ‘The West Wing’ — urged the city to become a sanctuary city,” the Los Angeles Times reported.
