Video: Massive Riots Spread From France to Belgium As Terrorism Units Overrun

The violent riots engulfing France have reportedly boiled over its borders to Belgium on Friday.

Videos purportedly from Belgium’s capital of Brussels circulating social media show rioters starting fires, destroying vehicles, and attacking police.

At least 64 rioters have been arrested in Brussels, according to reports.

This comes after 40,000 police and anti-terror units with armored military vehicles were deployed across France to quell the widespread violence sparked by anger over the death of an Algerian teenager by a police officer in Nanterre during a traffic stop.

The French riots across dozens of cities resulted in over 1,000 arrests, hundreds of buildings burned down, citizens brutally attacked, and even zoo animals released into the streets of Paris.

Meanwhile, French President Macron on Friday blamed the riots on videos games and bad parenting.

“Platforms and networks are playing a major role in the events of recent days,” Macron said.

“We’ve seen them — Snapchat, TikTok and several others — serve as places where violent gatherings have been organised, but there’s also a form of mimicry of the violence which for some young people leads them to lose touch with reality. You get the impression that for some of them they are experiencing on the street the video games that have intoxicated them,” he added.
