“This Is The Third World”: CVS Displays Framed Pictures Of TOILET PAPER; Customers Must Ask Staff For It
Pictures have emerged from a CVS store in Washington DC where framed images of toilet paper are displayed instead of the real product in an effort to stop people from stealing it.
So rampant is the crime in the Democrat run capital that this particular store and many others are now forcing customers to ask staff if they can retrieve toilet paper out of the stock lock up.
If you frequent this CVS, you must press a button to summon a sales associate and then point to the picture of the toilet paper brand you wish to purchase, then wait while they go and fetch it.
Conservative strategist and podcaster Joey Mannarino posted photos of the store, commenting “I was in Barcelona, Spain a few months ago and saw Mac laptops sitting out in the middle of the store. This is how we have to live in America now? This is the third world!”
The Daily Mail reported on the development, noting that “The pharmacy’s dystopian move comes just weeks after a CVS store in DC was ransacked by up to fifty teenage looters, who routinely attack the store and pillage its shelves.”
A CVS store on 14th Street in Columbia Heights, DC is so subject to constant theft that there is literally nothing on the shelves anymore.
The company has to decided to close 900 stores and gradually move online just to prevent losses from organised theft.
The removal of items from shelves in crime ridden big cities has seen shoppers having to wait up to 40 minutes for staff to bring them basic products from lock ups:
