Texas Building Barrier on New Mexico Border

Published

on

Texas is erecting a barrier along its border with New Mexico amid an influx of illegal aliens coming through the neighboring state, according to reports.

Governor Greg Abbott touted efforts to secure his state’s domestic frontier with New Mexico after migrants began skirting enforcement along the Rio Grande near El Paso.

“Our barriers around El Paso forced the migrants crossing illegally to enter into New Mexico. They then entered into El Paso from there,” Gov. Abbott wrote on social media this week.

“To end that, we are building a barrier on the New Mexico border.”

After Texas National Guardsmen were spotted putting up razor wire along the Rio Grande last week, Abbott clarified that the barrier was actually being constructed on the state line.

“This is on the border between Texas and NEW Mexico,” he explained.

“Migrants are entering New Mexico illegally then crossing into Texas. We are stopping it.”

Texas continues to roll out projects under Operation Lone Star, including building more permanent border wall, sending illegal aliens to sanctuary cities across the U.S., and liberating state territory from the control of criminal networks.

Chaos unfolds constantly along the U.S.-Mexico border, as Infowars regularly reports.
