Shock Video: Suspect Rams Stolen Work Truck Into Police, Launches Onto Busy Highway
A female suspect out on parole for burglary faces a slew of new charges after she led police on an “absolutely insane” chase in a stolen utility truck in California this week, according to reports.
The shocking string of events unfolded on Monday night in Southern California and ended in Corona.
A 26-year-old woman identified as Niqwayzh Green took control of a stolen work truck in La Habra and evaded officers during a relatively tame pursuit through Orange, Los Angeles, and San Bernardino Counties, ABC7 reports.
With news chopper cameras rolling overhead, the suspect began making much more dangerous maneuvers in an effort to escape.
The suspect can be seen ramming multiple patrol cars before speeding through a parking lot and launching into oncoming traffic on the 91 freeway.
The work truck is then driven against highway traffic for some time before the woman exits the vehicle and proceeds to run across lanes with cars flying by at high speed.
As the suspect runs through a parking lot, a wig flies off her head.
The suspect ultimately ran into a Denny’s restaurant where she was arrested.
Green was charged with assault with a deadly weapon against officers, possession of stolen property, and evading.
