Press Sec. Jean-Pierre Dodges on Cocaine Found At White House, Suggests Tourists to Blame
Biden press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre struggled to field questions during a press briefing Wednesday as she was inundated by queries about cocaine found in the White House over the weekend.
Jean-Pierre refused to speak directly about the cocaine found in a cubby in the West Wing and strongly suggested that tourists were to blame for the incident, and not anyone in the Biden family, since they were away at Camp David for the holiday weekend.
“One thing I can share….as you know, the president and the First Lady and their family were not here this weekend. As you all reported on this, and you’ll also know that they left on Friday and returned just yesterday,” Jean-Pierre told reporters.
“Can you give any more details on where the Secret Service found cocaine in the West Wing and how it got there?”

“Where this was discovered is a heavily traveled area where many White House, uh, West Wing — I should be even more specific — West Wing visitors come through, uh, this particular area,” she continued. “I just don’t have anything more to share. It is under investigation by the Secret Service. It is in their purview, and so we’re going to allow certainly the investigation to continue and we have confidence the Secret Service will get to the bottom of this.”

In typical fashion, Jean-Pierre also stonewalled on other topics.
She refused to elaborate on a federal judge’s Tuesday ruling that the Biden administration likely violated the First Amendment by coordinating with Big Tech to censor Americans during COVID.
“On the White House contact with social media companies, does the White House have a response to the judge basically saying that this is the most massive attack on free speech in the U.S. history?”
Karine Jean-Pierre: “We certainly disagree with this decision.” pic.twitter.com/3iHhHa5te7

“Specifically, do you disagree with the judge’s ruling that this coordination was a form of censorship that specifically targeted conservative speech?”
Karine Jean-Pierre: “Look, we disagree with the decision. I’ll leave it there.” pic.twitter.com/2KYnVFDjN7

She refused to speak on Hunter Biden’s lovechild and why the Biden family won’t acknowledge her.
REPORTER: “There was a story in the New York Times over the weekend about Hunter Biden’s daughter in Arkansas. Does the president acknowledge this little girl as his granddaughter?”

She even refused to answer when Joe Biden would ever visit Palestine, Ohio, where a train derailed and resulted in a toxic environmental and health disaster in February.
“Why has the president not made the visit [to East Palestine] and at this point, is he just not going to?”
Karine Jean-Pierre: “He will travel…Just don’t have anything to share on travel” pic.twitter.com/YkYvB59GyL

Does Jean-Pierre have any other function at Biden’s White House other than to shut down questions?
Karine Jean-Pierre said she would “bring transparency and truth back to the government,” but all she’s brought is “no comment.”
