Authorities are searching for at least seven suspects who beat and robbed a man at knifepoint in New York City this month, according to reports.

The shocking incident unfolded in Brooklyn just after 4 a.m. on July 8, but details about the attack are just coming to light.

The victim, a 43-year-old male, was exiting a train in the Bushwick neighborhood when a mob of men confronted him.

“They knocked him to the floor of the platform and put a knife to his wrist while punching and kicking him repeatedly,” 1010 Wins reports, citing police sources.

“They also ‘twisted’ his left leg, causing a serious injury, cops said.”

The New York Police Department shared photos of seven males who allegedly participated in the brutal attack.

The suspects ultimately stole $100 from the man and fled the scene.

The victim was reportedly taken to hospital in serious but stable condition.
