Hollywood actor Dwayne Johnson, AKA The Rock, said he won’t openly endorse Joe Biden in the upcoming presidential election, adding he’s not happy with the direction the country’s headed.

The former WWE wrestler told Fox News’ Will Cain that while he threw his support behind Biden in 2020, he won’t do the same this year.

“Am I happy with the state of America right now? Well, that answer is no,” Johnson said in an interview Friday.

“Do I believe we’re going to get better? I believe in that,” he added.

The Rock admitted he endorsed Biden in 2020 because “I thought was the best decision for me at that time.”

He went on to say he felt at the time it was his job “to exercise my influence and share…’This is who I’m gonna endorse.’”

“Am I gonna do that again this year?”

“That answer’s no,” he stated.

The millionaire actor’s refusal to endorse Biden comes months after he issued an apology for – along with billionaire Oprah Winfrey – asking average people to send money to Maui following a deadly wildfire in the middle of an economic downturn.
