Incredible: Biden Falsely Claims He Was on Ground Zero Day After 9/11
President Joe Biden shamelessly told a whopper during remarks commemorating the 22nd anniversary of the 9/11 World Trade Center attacks, falsely claiming he visited Ground Zero the day after the tragic incident.
Speaking to service members Monday at the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska, Biden went on a tangent about gazing at the WTC rubble in lower Manhattan the day after the attack.
“General and tribal leaders and students of the sacred lands and family and distinguished guests, I join you on this solemn day to renew our sacred vow: never forget. Never forget. We never forget. Each of us. Each of those precious lives stolen too soon when evil attacked,” Biden said.
He continued: “Ground Zero in New York. I remember standing there the next day and looking at the building. I felt like I was looking through the gates of Hell, it looked so devastating, because the way you could, because of where you could stand.”
Biden was immediately fact-checked on his disingenuous tale, with C-Span footage from September 12, 2001, showing him speaking on the Senate floor in favor of a joint resolution condemning the attacks.

While Biden did not visit Ground Zero the day after the attack – and this year actually became the first President not to visit New York City to commemorate the 9/11 anniversary – archive footage shows then-real estate mogul Donald Trump telling reporters he personally visited the Ground Zero site to survey the damage.
Biden’s lies clearly show he has no respect for the 9/11 victims, but don’t hold your breath for anyone in the mainstream media to hold him accountable for spreading misinformation.
