Elon Musk Calls for Boycott of New York Times For Dismissing South African Leader’s White Genocide Song

X CEO Elon Musk called for a boycott of The New York Times over its dismissal of South African leader Julius Malema’s song calling for white genocide.

EFF leader Julius Malema led a chant and song last week in front of thousands of supporters called “Kill The Boers,” a slur for white farmers in South Africa.

The New York Times, always an outlet to overhype racism in virtually any issue, simply dismissed the white genocide anthem and lambasted conservatives for taking the “old anti-apartheid chant” too literally.

“Right-wing commenters claim that an old anti-apartheid chant is a call to anti-white violence, but historians and the left-wing politician who embraces it say it should not be taken literally,” the outlet reported.

Musk, a white South African himself, did not take kindly to The Times’ blasé reaction to Malema’s call for racial genocide and called out its hypocrisy.

Notably, The New York Times framed country singer Jason Aldean’s hit song “Try That in a Small Town” as racist for calling out violence of left-wing groups like Antifa and Black Lives Matter.

The Tesla and SpaceX founder then called for a boycott of the left-wing newspaper.

“The New York Times actually has the nerve to support calls for genocide! If ever there was a time to cancel that publication, it is now,” Musk posted on Friday.

Musk’s boycott call was met with positive and sometimes hilarious reactions on X.

Given the majority of The New York Times’ audience is left-wing, it’s unlikely a boycott of the publication over anti-white racism will be successful.

But it’s heartening to see Elon Musk try to accelerate the demise of Fake News.
