Conspiracy Theories Swirl Over Devastating Maui Fires as Media Blames Climate Change

Social media is abuzz with conspiracy theories and questions surrounding the Maui wildfires that have killed at least 67 people.

Despite the fact the cause of the wildfires has not yet been determined, media outlets like Newsweek and AFP have insisted the fires were NOT intentionally started by direct energy weapons.

This of course has only fueled more rumors online.

Many are speculating that the fires could have been intentionally set to disenfranchise the natives who own the historic oceanfront properties that were devastated in the blaze.

Others believe the fires were started to level the area to make way for 15-minute cities promoted by the likes of the World Economic Forum.

And yet others have put forward the theory the wildfires could have been started by environmentalist arsonists to justify climate change talking points already put out by the likes of The New York Times.

The wildfires that started Tuesday have scorched over 2,000 acres of land, including most of the town of Lahaina, a rich cultural and historical area of the Hawaiian island.

Though the cause of the fires have yet to be officially determined, when the establishment makes a decision to quash conspiracy theories and questions before all the facts are in, there’s reason to be suspicious.
