The Colorado Supreme Court has ruled that former President Donald Trump is disqualified from holding office once again, citing Section 3 of the 14th Amendment.

As part of Democrat-led court’s 4-3 decision, Trump will be removed from the state’s 2024 ballot.

“A majority of the court holds that President Trump is disqualified from holding the office of the President under Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution,” the court wrote.

“Because he is disqualified, it would be a wrongful act under the Election Code for the Colorado Secretary of State to list him as a candidate on the presidential primary ballot. The court stays its ruling until January 4, 2024, subject to any further appellate proceedings.”

Trump’s legal team is expected to appeal the ruling to the U.S. Supreme Court.

The ruling comes following a lawsuit filed by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) in September claiming Trump should be disqualified from the ballot under the 14th amendment for his actions allegedly taken during the riot at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

CREW is headed by Noah Bookbinder, who was appointed to the DHS’s Advisory Council in March of 2022 by Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

Colorado District Judge Sarah Wallace last month agreed with the claim that Trump “engaged in insurrection” but ruled that he still can appear on the Centennial State’s 2024 Republican presidential primary.

Trump has never been indicted, let alone convicted, of fomenting an “insurrection” at the Capitol.

President Trump’s spokesman Steven Cheung released a response blasting the court’s ruling as a “scheme to interfere in an election on behalf of Crooked Joe Biden.”

“Unsurprisingly, the all-Democrat appointed Colorado Supreme Court has ruled against President Trump, supporting a Soros-funded left-wing group’s scheme to interfere in an election on behalf of Crooked Joe Biden by removing President Trump’s name from the ballot and eliminating the rights of Colorado voters to vote for the candidate of their choice.”

“Democrat Party leaders are in a state of paranoia over the growing, dominant lead President Trump has amassed in the polls. They have lost faith in the failed Biden presidency and are now doing everything can to stop the American voters from throwing them out of office next November.”

“The Colorado Supreme Court issued a completely flawed decision tonight and we will swiftly file an appeal to the United States Supreme Court and a concurrent request for a stay of this deeply undemocratic decision. We have full confidence that the U.S. Supreme Court will quickly rule in our favor and finally put an end to these unAmerican lawsuits,” the statement concluded.

George Washington law professor Jonathan Turley observed the ruling “ends a string of losses for advocates of this dangerous novel theory” pertaining to the 14th Amendment, adding their decision is “dead wrong.”

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) also pledged Colorado Republicans will “fight” the court’s decision to strip voters of their right to choose the president “every step of the way.”

“This is extreme judicial activism that is designed to suppress the vote and voices of hundreds of thousands of Coloradans, which is absolutely unacceptable,” she wrote on X.

This is blatant election interference and a disenfranchisement of Colorado voters who should make their own determination of who should be the next President of the United States.
