Biden’s Head Of Pentagon Schools Arrested In Human Trafficking Sting

The Chief of Staff of Education Activity at the Biden administration’s Department of Defense was arrested this week in a human trafficking sting after he allegedly tried getting women to engage in prostitution.

The Pentagon official, 64-year-old Stephen Hovanic, was one of 26 arrests made by Georgia’s Coweta County Sheriff’s Office and Haralson County Sheriff’s Office after a two-day human trafficking operation.

The law enforcement effort rescued six human trafficking victims altogether.

According to police, Hovanic was arrested on suspicion of pandering – essentially another term for “pimping.”

The Daily Caller reports, “A booking photo of Hovanic, which the Coweta County sheriff’s office shared with the DCNF, shows a man who closely resembles the man in DODEA Americas Chief of Staff Stephen Hovanic’s biography on the agency’s website. Photos of both men show a distinctive scar across the chin.”

Before working with the DOD, Hovanic worked as a high school vocational teacher, coach, and school administrator in Virginia.

After joining the DoDEA/DDESS in 1996, Hovanic worked as an Assistant Principal at Quantico Middle-High School and became Principal of Dahlgren Unit School in 2001.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Hovanic has been the head of the U.S. military’s system of k-12 schools since 2010.

Biden officials have yet to release a press statement about the incident, so this article will be updated when a comment is available.
