Biden Backs Court Decision to Bar Trump From Colorado Ballot: ‘No Question’ Trump ‘Supported Insurrection’

Joe Biden appeared to back the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision to remove former President Donald Trump from the state’s ballot, claiming there is “no question” Trump “supported an insurrection.”

The court ruled Tuesday that Trump is disqualified from appearing on the state’s ballot because he led an insurrection in violation of Section 3 of the 14th Amendment.

Biden weighed in on the court’s ruling after stepping from Air Force One in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, immediately after initially claiming he wouldn’t comment.

“I think it’s self evident” that Trump is an insurrectionist, Biden told reporters.

“Whether the 14th Amendment applies, I’ll let the court make that decision.”

“But he certainly supported an insurrection,” Biden insisted. “There’s no question about it. None. Zero.”

“He seems to be doubling down on everything,” he added.

Biden’s tacit approval of Democrat lawfare tactics his chief political opponent is nothing new.

He simply said “no one is above the law” when Trump was charged by special counsel Jack Smith for “overturning” the 2020 election and for retaining classified documents at Mar-a-Lago.

Meanwhile, numerous polls show Trump dominating Biden in every key battleground state in a hypothetical 2024 presidential matchup.

Trump said he will appeal the Colorado court’s decision to the U.S. Supreme Court.
