AI Influencers Surge in Popularity Despite Not Being Real – Men Don’t Care!

Social media accounts with AI-generated female avatars designed to look like supermodels are surging in popularity.

This growth is despite the accounts themselves openly disclosing the young women being portrayed are not real.

Meet AI model “Milla Sofia” below:

Also, making a splash in this burgeoning media space is virtual influencer & model “Vicki Verano.”

Verano’s social media posts went viral Thursday due to the relatively convincing videos posted on the account.

Already, experts and people familiar with the technology are raising alarm about the millions of men who will inevitably be duped into paying real money for the attention of digital women.

Celebrity matchmaker Alessandra Conti claims this technology is also being utilized in the online dating world

“I’ve been a professional matchmaker for 10-plus years, and this year specifically, I have seen such a massive spike in clients – both male and female clients – coming in saying that they’ve been catfished so many times because these AI bots … they’re so difficult to discern if it’s artificial intelligence or if it’s human,” said Conti to Fox News. “They look so authentic.”

“A lot of people just don’t read the description, and they just see a beautiful woman, and they just comment away. And that’s social media for you.”

The term “catfish” refers to when a person is tricked by another via a deceiving online profile.

Even if these digital “women” aren’t robbing their audience of real money, many are concerned about the very real time men are already pouring into consuming the media.

“We won’t pay for bread and circuses anymore,” said one Twitter user. “They are free with AI.”
