18 More Angry Liberals Arrested For Entering House Speaker McCarthy’s Office To Protest Gov. Lockdown & Demand Climate Action
18 left-wing activists were arrested Thursday for entering GOP House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s office in a “climate action” and anti-government shutdown protest.
The demonstration comes after 7 people were arrested inside McCarthy’s office earlier this month after they too entered his office, demanding Congress reauthorize funding for the Anthony Fauci-created AIDS commitment by the U.S. government called PEPFAR.
Thursday’s sit-in was led by The Sunrise Movement, a climate group that often shuts down streets and highways as a tactic to get the public’s attention.
“We’re over this bullshit. We demand climate action NOW,” the group wrote on X.
The young demonstrators held signs reading, “The GOP hates Gen Z,” “climate action not shut down,” and “Green New Deal now.”
If no agreement is made, the U.S. government will shut down on October 1.
Some GOP members like Marjorie Taylor Greene are pledging to allow the government to shut down if their colleagues include additional funding to Ukraine in the spending bill.
The federal government continues putting Ukraine ahead of America, yet the brainwashed youth are demanding the government continue funding the warring nation and spending tax dollars on decarbonization.
