Panicked Obama, Bill Clinton Rally to Boost Biden

The Democrats are in a full-blown panic over President Biden’s re-election campaign. He’s floundering. Former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton are coming to the rescue.

At least that is the plan. Whether or not the star power of the two former Democrat presidents will turn the tide for Biden remains to be seen. It is an indication of just how alarmed Democrat officials are, though, if they are calling on Obama and Clinton to boost Biden’s campaign this far out from November.

CNN reported that Obama visited Joe Biden at the White House on Friday. This was the latest of Obama’s visits with Biden over the last few months. The bat signal has been in view by concerned (desperate) Democrats that Sleepy Joe isn’t up to the challenges of a presidential campaign. No one, other than Jill Biden, is more worried than Barack Obama.

The two men are said to have spent “several hours” in the family dining room and the mood was cheerful. Jokes were exchanged and the occasion was seen as a sort of mini-reunion of staffers for the men. Most of the staffers have known each other since the Obama White House days. The meeting was not all fun and games, though.

Obama has made it clear to associates that he thinks the November election will be very close and it’s an all-hands-on-deck moment. This meeting was a working visit.

Biden, Obama, and Nancy Pelosi worked together to promote the 14th anniversary of Obamacare.

Biden and Obama, along with former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, participated in an organizing call in the White House residence heralding the 14th anniversary of the Affordable Care Act. “We have the chance to do even more, but that only happens if we send Joe and Kamala back to the White House in November,” Obama said in the video. “So, we’ve got to keep working.”

Off camera, Obama told Biden that he thought the president’s State of the Union remarks earlier this month had been effective and was breaking through, according to people familiar with their conversation. Obama also emphasized to Biden how much he believes health care will be a politically potent and important issue in the upcoming election.

The campaign also recorded other content featuring the two presidents, sources said, that they plan to roll out in the coming weeks.

The band is back together. I don’t know what Obama’s smoking these days but the State of the Union address did not provide Biden with any post-speech bounce at all. Critics like to slam Senator Katie Britt for her delivery of the Republican response but Biden delivered 67 minutes of yelling at his audience. No one thought is was a good performance and it was lacking substance. No one was swayed by that speech. Obama and Biden have to turn to TikTok and Instagram to do buddy videos to attract young voters who have all but abandoned Biden at this point.

Obama speaks regularly with Biden’s chief of staff, Jeff Zients. He worked in the Obama administration.

One area where Biden and the DNC are excelling is fundraising. The Biden campaign’s coffers are full. When all else fails, hold a big fundraising gala. Bring in lots of celebrities and include two former presidents seems to be the Hail Mary pass tonight.

The man who once said, ‘Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f*** things up’ during Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign is now riding to the rescue. There is no bigger star in the Democrat Party than Barack Obama. Bill Clinton used to hold that title but that was long ago. Clinton is still popular but younger voters aren’t interested in him.

The fundraiser tonight will be held at Radio City Music Hall. Biden, Obama, and Clinton will sit down for a forum. Late-night show host and Democrat shill, Stephen Colbert, will moderate the event.

This is being billed as a massive fundraiser. $25M has already been raised. Tickets cost up to $500,000 each which gets the attendee into a reception with the 3 presidents. For a $100,000 donation, the donor can get a picture taken with the three men by legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz.

The guest list is chock full of celebrities. Anna Wintour, Mindy Kaling, Queen Latifah, Lizzo, Ben Platt, Cynthia Erivo, and Lea Michelle are all expected to attend.

The event is sold out and expected to have 5,000 guests. The event is being called the “most successful political fundraiser in American history.” The idea is to claim that Biden is strong in his re-election bid because of all the money that is being raised on his behalf. It’s smoke and mirrors. Biden is historically unpopular with the American public. He has to rely on big donors and events to raise money. There is no grassroots movement for Biden’s re-election. Everyday Americans are tuning to Trump.

“This historic raise is a show of strong enthusiasm for President Biden and Vice President Harris and a testament to the unprecedented fundraising machine we’ve built,” Hollywood mogul Jeffrey Katzenberg, a campaign co-chair, said in a statement. “Unlike our opponent, every dollar we’re raising is going to reach the voters who will decide this election — communicating the president’s historic record, his vision for the future and laying plain the stakes of this election.” That was a shot at Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee whose fundraising is going in part to defray his legal expenses.

Curb your enthusiasm, Jeffrey. No one is buying it. Biden’s poll numbers are still circling the drain. The latest poll released by Fox News shows that more than half of Americans think they are worse off now than they were in 2020. 38% said that Biden has no accomplishments to claim. Yikes.

There will be a stark contrast between Biden’s activities in New York City today and that of Donald Trump’s schedule. Trump was invited to attend the wake of fallen NYPD officer Jonathan Diller.

A protest is anticipated at the venue by pro-Hamas supporters. “Flood Manhattan for Gaza” is certain to cause some heartburn for event organizers at Radio City Hall tonight.
