Never accept a cheap substitute: Trudeau called truckers “Nazis,” applauds the real thing
There seem to be Nazis everywhere today. Well, Nazis and RUSSIANS.

It just depends what sort of fever lens you look through.
Whatever you do at the moment, it’s vital we all PUSH BACK AGAINST RUSSIAN PROPAGANDA…

…especially after a person, as Prime Minister of Canada, has been caught on camera, before God and everyone, publicly celebrating a 98 year old…Waffen SS member.
Reminder that the lunatics up north just honored a literal NAZI in the public gallery who fought in WWII.
Zelensky and Trudeau loved it. pic.twitter.com/1crCNiniUg

Well, one Ukrainian freedom fighter is another man’s Nazi, right?
Not…not exactly. Not like truckers in the anti-COVID convoys Trudeau called “Nazis”…
During a heated exchange in the House of Commons Wednesday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau accused Conservative MPs sympathetic to the trucker convoy of standing with “people who wave swastikas.”
Remember when Trudeau called the truckers protesting his lockdowns “NAZIS” and used that pretext to freeze their bank accounts and anyone who donated to them?! pic.twitter.com/bhFJVU4y5G

…while a liberal Canadian MP flat out said “honk honk” was code for “Heil Hitler” among the trucking kind of “Nazis.”
Canadian Liberal MP Ya’ara Saks is claiming that the ‘Honk Honk’ catchphrase used by Freedom Convoy protesters over the past few weeks is actually a secret code for ‘heil Hitler.’
‘Honk Honk’ became an unofficial slogan in support of the truckers who blared their horns incessantly in protest of pandemic mandates during demonstrations that paralyzed the capital city of Ottawa for nearly a month.
During Monday’s debate on the Emergencies Act invoked by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Saks defended the Act to remove protesters from the Parliament Hill area Sunday as she launched into what she believed was the meaning of the ‘Honk Honk’ slogan – a code for supporting Hitler.
Naturally, rational people took umbrage at the association with such ghastly aspersions and decried the vile rhetoric spewing from the liberal side, which was based purely on disagreeing with the prime minister’s authoritarian stance. In effect, there were no Nazis to be had, so Trudeau and his minions created them in order to vilify – and justify the subsequent oppression – of an entire movement of hardworking, fed-up Canadian citizens.
Not those kind of made-up Nazis. Hateses them.
Fast forward to everyone’s favorite sweater boy making the diplomatic rounds this weekend.
Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelenskyy was given an opportunity to address the Canadian Parliament unlike his visit in the United States, where House Speaker Kevin McCarthy denied him that opportunity in the spotlight. Maybe it was just as well. In Ottawa, it seems Zelenskyy
brought along an honored guest – a 98 year old Ukrainian “freedom fighter,” who he wanted to celebrate for his courage fighting the Russians all those years ago.
The problem was, no one thought to check exactly how the aged warrior fought the Russians before everyone got all gooey over him fighting “for Ukrainian independence” and jumped to their feet to applaud the old soldier.
I still can’t believe the entire Canadian parliament gave a standing ovation to a literal Nazi SS officer who fought against the army that liberated Auschwitz, and Canada itself. But it’s true. They actually did. And no one will face any consequences. In fact they’ll do it again pic.twitter.com/Rxx1pUWglg

Turns out Mr Hunka wasn’t a Ukrainian “freedom fighter,” or Ukrainian army soldier, or even resistance fighter like the French had. He wasn’t crawling through thickets fighting the Russians to free Ukraine. He did it in a real, live Nazi Waffen SS uniform.
That puts a whole different spin on the story, no?
If you vote for Trump or go to church or say that boys can’t become girls, they’ll call you a Nazi.
If you’re a literal Nazi who wore the Nazi uniform as member of Nazi Germany’s army during World War II, they’ll say you’re merely “Nazi-linked” if you share their politics. https://t.co/ProGUvCcPo

And the unit he was attached to – 14th “Galicia” division – were some particularly nasty hombres. I don’t think “war criminals” would be too harsh. Not at all like Canadian truckers, as much as Trudeau would like to paint them so.
…Formed in 1943, SS Galichina was comprised of Ukrainians from the Galicia region in the western part of the country. It was armed and trained by Hitler’s Nazis and commanded by German officers. The next year, the division received a visit from SS head Heinrich Himmler, who had high praise for the unit’s effectiveness at slaughtering Poles.
The SS Galichina subunits were responsible for the Huta Pieniacka massacre, in which they burned 500 to 1,000 Polish villagers alive.
…In fact, during the Nuremberg Trials, the Waffen-SS was declared to be a criminal organization responsible for mass atrocities.
Mr. Hunka volunteered for that unit and has always seemed to be unabashedly proud of being a literal Nazi.

In spite of the Prime Minister’s case of amnesia/deflection regarding the excruciatingly embarrassing event and whatever Russians have to do with him standing and feting a real life Nazi, vice a made-up one, the Speaker of the Canadian House issued a terse little “my bad”…
On September 22, in the House of Commons, I recognized an individual in the gallery. I regret my decision to do so, and accept full responsibility for my actions. Read my statement here: https://t.co/Hd9chtHFNJ

…and is hoping everyone forgets the whole thing really quickly.
Media tried, but darn it. Some people got fired up about it.
The Canadian Nazi story is as much a media scandal as it is a Trudeau scandal. By Saturday morning, Twitter was exploding with news that Hunka was in the 14th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS. But media tried to cover it up until the Simon Wiesenthal Center spoke up 24h later. https://t.co/6Sm8QSk5eS

Poland’s not going to be quiet, either. They’re demanding an apology from Canada for inviting a Nazi – no less a member of that Pole massacring unit – to Parliament.
Kinda hard not to smirk at the picture.
You know Zelenskyy knew exactly what he’d pulled off and Prime Minister Blackface was left with egg on his.
