Kamala’s Venn Diagram of Knowledge and Utterances Doesn’t Overlap
It’s Friday, so I feel empowered to write a post about a less serious topic: Kamala Harris.
The only thing serious about the woman is that she is a moron within a heartbeat of the presidency. With that said, does it matter? The current occupant isn’t sentient either, so only the optics, not the policy wisdom, would change.
Sports Fan Kamala Harris claims the NCAA women’s basketball tournament was “not allowed to have brackets until 2022.”
As usual, she is wrong. pic.twitter.com/QaRSsngSxP

Harris 4.0 or 5.0 is being launched in a vain attempt to make her more relatable to people, and as with every previous reboot, the effort is a disaster.
The problem is simple: she knows nothing, and her ignorance is only matched by her idiocy.
Generally speaking, I get furious when people disparage anyone for their intellectual abilities. Intelligence alone tells you little about a person’s character, and I have found people with Downs’ Syndrome among the most delightful people I have ever met.
However, when people of average intelligence display the Dunning-Kruger Effect- when people of little knowledge or skill grossly overestimate their abilities due to their incredible ignorance- it can be enraging at least if they have power. The certainty matched with ignorance is dangerous.
Harris is the embodiment of the Dunning-Kruger Effect, having failed upward her entire life.
Her assertion that there have been no brackets in women’s basketball is a matter of little import, but for the fact that it points yet another exclamation point on the fact that she is an idiot who should be nowhere near anything important.
Harris is an avowed sports fan, and there is evidence that this is genuinely true. Yet she has no idea what “brackets” in tournaments ARE. Even I, not a sports fan per se, (I like watching football and the last few games of March Madness) know what brackets are.
And if you have a tournament, you have brackets. It is literally impossible not to have brackets. It is the nature of tournaments. Teams play. The winners advance against other winners, until all but one team emerges as the victor.
Harris is referring to a branding change in which the women’s tournament is now allowed to use the (trademarked) moniker “March Madness.” The fact that until 2022, women could not use that branding has nothing to do with the dismissal of women’s basketball–ratings did that because until recently, nobody cared about women’s basketball–and everything to do with marketing and trademarks.
Discrimination had nothing to do with it.
Officially the tournaments are known as the 2022 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament and 2022 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Tournament but the men’s version has used the March Madness brand for years.
Many of the names used with March Madness are registered trademarks of the NCAA, and their use is restricted to official broadcast partners and sponsors with the exception of news reporting.
People make mistakes, of course, but there is a continuum between brain farts and sheer stupidity, and with Harris the latter is always the default explanation. She rhapsodizes and cackles about fake facts and mundane experiences–Venn Diagrams, Yellow School Buses, and space flight–without reference to realities.
Biden makes things up. Harris believes she knows things about which she is profoundly ignorant. And yet they are entrusted with the future of our country.
Say what you will about Obama, but he was at least smart and smooth. He looked and sounded good while destroying the country.
I suspect that the reason the Left is all-in on eradicating “ableism” has little to do with compassion or equity and everything to do with the fact that they are protecting the reputations of their politicians, who display no ability at all.
