Breaking: Joe Rogan Says He’s Ready To Have Trump on His Podcast

Podcast host Joe Rogan indicated he’s had a change of heart over Donald Trump appearing on the show, saying he’d reconsider inviting the former president on.

“At a certain point in time, it would be interesting to hear his perspective on a lot of things,” Rogan said on The Joe Rogan Experience Thursday, adding he’d have some pointed questions for Trump to answer.

“I would like to know, ‘What is it like when you actually get into office?… When do you know that people are fucking with you? When do you know the intelligence agencies are lying to you?’”

“‘When you decided to fire Comey, what was the thought?’ he continued. ‘How much did you know?’ ‘What’s the machine like? What is the Deep State really like?’ Because we have all these smoky room perceptions, like from the Bill Hicks joke where they show you the Kennedy assassination from an angle you’ve never seen before.”

You know, ‘What is the machine that runs this country?’ Because it’s very clear that it’s not as simple as elected representatives that are doing the will of the people. It’s not.”

Rogan also blasted the Justice Department’s series of indictments against Trump as the “actions of a banana republic.”

“Yeah, and the people that love Trump, they feel like this is a witch hunt. And they feel like all the things he’s getting indicted for are bullshit anyway,” Rogan said. “Not only does it not work, but it kind of hardens their position that he’s being targeted. And these are like the the actions of a banana republic.”

Rogan had previously declared last year that he would not allow Trump on his podcast because he was “not interested in helping him.”

But speculation began to swirl about Rogan changing his mind after the UFC commentator was seen jovially shaking hands with the former president at UFC 290 in Las Vegas last month.
