Dylan Mulvaney charges big bucks on college speaking tour

The last word from social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney was that he no longer felt safe in America so he fled to Peru. He broke his silence about the whole Bud Light collaboration fiasco at the end of June by speaking out that the beermaker abandoned him instead of supporting him as he company experienced a financial collapse.

The Bud Light fiasco caused workers who had nothing to do with the company’s decision to collaborate with Dylan to be laid off from their jobs. People quit buying the beer and the company began promotions to give it away. Bud Light is no longer the number one beer in sales. The company lost tens of billions of dollars.

So, what’s Dylan to do? Well, he is embarking on a speaking tour when the 23-24 college year begins. Here’s the kicker – his speech topic is women’s empowerment. WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT? I can’t with this guy. He made a pitch for his college tour via Instagram.

“Booking speaking opportunities for the upcoming 23/24 school year and would love to come visit,” she told her 2 million followers.

She included an email address “for serious inquiries” and added “love ya!”

On Creative Arts Agency’s (CAA) website — the talent agency that represents Mulvaney — she’s listed as a speaker who’s available to talk on topics such as LGBTQIA+ advocacy, social media, women’s empowerment as well as diversity, equity and inclusion.

His fee is up to $40,000. Not bad for a guy who pretends to be a girl, eh? My opinion is that he is doing performance art with his year-long transition into being a female. He didn’t have surgery, that I know of, and is so over-the-top in his actions in social media videos that it has to be a parody of how he thinks young women act. Your mileage may vary.

He must be feeling more safe in leaving his house now if he is embarking on this national speaking tour. Good for him.

Crista Spadafore confirmed to the New Guard that Mulvaney will be charging $40,000 in speaking fees. When speaking at the University of Pittsburgh earlier this year, Mulvaney charged $26,250 to speak. Mulvaney’s booking page with CAA says that the TikTok influencer can speak on a variety of topics, including “women’s empowerment”:

Dylan Mulvaney (she/they) is a trans actress and content creator.

She was touring with Broadway’s Book of Mormon and when the pandemic hit, she turned to TikTok and began sharing her transgender journey with her millions of followers.

Her series titled “Days of Girlhood” received over 750 million views in less than 100 days.

TikTok crowned her their “trailblazer” for the month of June, and she made Good Morning America’s “Who is Making LGBTQ+ History Right Now?” list.

As I said, he’s an actor. He continued to support himself through the pandemic when Broadway shut down by launching his social media series “Days of Girlhood” about his alleged transition. A “trailblazer”? I don’t know about that. Drag queens have been around forever.

I’m with the Libs of TikTok here. You can’t make this stuff up. I don’t care if he goes to colleges and makes speeches for fees. I’m a capitalist. I believe in the free market system. If he finds a niche in which he can make a living, more power to him. My beef is with his choice of topics. By a man speaking about women’s empowerment, as though he has such vast experience to offer an audience of college students, is offensive. It’s mansplaining. He isn’t a woman, he’s an actor delivering a speech. It’s insulting to women.

It makes me sad that transgenderism is the current flavor of the month for people looking to erase traditional life as we know it. This is mental illness and it should not be applauded and rewarded. It should be treated by professionals.

Why can’t he stick to addressing LGBTQ issues? He’s made remarks in the past that he’s identified as bi-sexual and gay, now transgender, so he’s hit most of the alphabet with his own sexual awakening. It’s a very small percentage of the general population yet to listen to current events, a person would think it’s the most important story. Transgenderism should be addressed as it is and let the people affected by it get the help they need.
