Singer Tori Kelly Hospitalized After Collapsing, Doctors Discover Blood Clots

Pop singer Tori Kelly collapsed while with friends Sunday, with reports claiming doctors at a hospital where she was taken found blood clots in her system.

TMZ reports the Grammy award winning singer is in “really serious” condition, with sources telling the celebrity gossip site she was dining with friends in downtown Los Angeles, Cali., when her heart started beating fast and she suddenly passed out.

The singer’s friends rushed her to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where doctors reportedly “discovered clots in Tori’s legs and her lungs … and are still working to determine if any clots are around her heart.”

While Kelly’s vaccine status is unclear, social media users speculated Kelly may have succumbed to a Covid-19 vaccine injury given blood clot symptoms have typically been associated with the jab, bluntly referred to by many as the “clot shot.”

Kelly appeared as a voice actor in Universal Studios’ Sing and Sing 2, and the soundtracks of both movies featured songs sung by her.

Kelly was nominated for a Best New Artist Grammy in 2016, and won the Grammy Award for Best Gospel Album in 2019 for her album “Hiding Place.”
