‘Snow White’ Actress Touts Feminist Messaging of Disney Remake

Actress Rachel Zegler, who portrays Snow White in the upcoming live-action adaptation of the Disney classic, cast aspersions on the original animated movie and touted the remake’s feminist messaging.

Zegler suggested she’ll bring a “modern edge” to Snow White by introducing feminist ideals to the reimagined Disney princess.

“I just mean it’s no longer 1937. We absolutely wrote a Snow White that’s…not going to be saved by the prince,” Zegler said.

“And she’s not going to be dreaming about true love. She’s going to be dreaming about becoming the leader she knows she can be, and the leader her late father told her she could be if she was fearless, fair, brave and true.”

“And so, it’s just a really incredible story for young people everywhere to see themselves in,” she added.

The upcoming film has already been roundly ridiculed for catering to the woke crowd by casting the Latina actress as the famously fair-skinned princess, which Zegler dismissed as “nonsensical discourse.”

“We’ve been lectured for years about cultural appropriation and the vital importance of Hispanics playing Hispanics, of trans actors playing trans characters and of disabled stars in disabled parts, but where is the consistency?” liberal British broadcaster Piers Morgan noted on Friday.

“In the original fairytale the Brothers Grimm wrote that Snow White was called Snow White, because as I said, her skin was Snow White, which is why her mother called her Snow White.”

Given Disney’s track record of inserting woke messaging into its films like The Little Mermaid remake, Lightyear and Elemental have already resulted in over $900 million in losses for the company.

It’s hard to believe the woke Snow White film will turn that flop streak around.
