Flashback: Same MSM Trashing ‘Sound of Freedom’ as ‘QAnon Film’ Praised Tim Ballard’s Child Rescues 10 Years Ago

The same mainstream media bad-mouthing the Sound of Freedom film was evidently enthralled by Operation Underground Railroad founder Tim Ballard nearly 10 years ago.

Ballard’s exploits rescuing trafficked children were once touted by none other than CBS Evening News’ Scott Pelley in 2014 in a 3-minute report Ballard says formed the basis for the film enjoying recent box office success.

In 2020, Ballard wrote,

“Several years ago, a Hollywood production company watched this CBS News clip, which covered our first big rescue operation back in 2014. They then came to our team to get the rest of the story, as the truth about what actually happened was too extensive and way too crazy to fit into a 3 minute story. The result: the full-length upcoming feature film “Sound of Freedom”, starring Jim Caviezel, Mira Sorvino, and Eduardo Verastegui. COMING SOON.”

Fast-forward to 2023 and several mainstream media outlets have criticized the anti-child trafficking thriller as being a conspiracy theory-based film, with Rolling Stone, The Washington Post, CNN and The Guardian all claiming the film, based on true events, is a groundless conspiracy derived from the Q Anon movement.
