CNN Complains 10,000 More Texans Born Last Nine Months Thanks To 2021 Abortion Law

Leftist media rag CNN published an article Thursday, complaining a 2021 Texas abortion law led to “nearly 10,000 more births than expected in the last nine months of 2022.”

That’s a poor way of saying nearly 10,000 lives were saved!

The CNN article was based on research published in the journal JAMA last month.

The article predictably claimed, “the impacts of restricted access to abortion care will be felt unequally, with the ability to seek abortion care intersecting with poverty, racism and other sociodemographic factors.”

CNN also cited a program director with the nonprofit Population Reference Bureau who allegedly “focuses on child well-being” complaining about the physical and mental health of women who didn’t get to have an abortion because of the Texas law.

“People who are denied a needed abortion experience a range of negative impacts on their physical and mental health,” the nonprofit program director said. “It’s hard to imagine the short- and long-term implications of a personal trajectory that may have been rerouted for the 9,799 people who were denied an abortion under SB8.”

Yes, the left wants people to feel sorry for the women who couldn’t kill their offspring instead of celebrating the thousands of babies who were allowed to live thanks to the Texas anti-abortion bill.

Thousands of Twitter users celebrated the victory for life in response to the CNN article:
