Bud Light Brutally Mocked Over New ‘Grunting’ Ad Featuring Kansas City Chiefs Star

The Bud Light marketing team is struggling to rebuild the brand’s image after its disastrous partnership with trans activist Dylan Mulvaney slashed sales, and its latest ad shows just how desperate they are.

Case in point, an ad released Sunday revolves around Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and other beer-drinking men grunting in a transparent effort by Bud Light to ingratiate itself with male beer drinkers.

As expected, the 15-second ad was received terribly, with many asserting there’s no way back for  Bud Light after shooting itself in the foot.

“Why is it so hard to just depict a regular beer drinker?” asked Twitter user IT Guy. “It’s as if their Marketing geniuses are trying to understand an alien civilization.”

“Man Bud Light is going for the death blow at this point,” another commenter wrote according to Fox News. “This is what they think of their client base, stupid grunting cavemen.”

To make matters worse, many YouTube commenters also pointed out none of the people in the ad, including Kelce, actually consumed the beer, reinforcing the perception no one wants to be seen drinking Bud Light in public.

Podcast host and comedian Joe Rogan riffed on Bud Light’s ex-trans partner Dylan Mulvaney in a recent episode, calling him a “mentally ill person who’s an attention whore.”

While Bud Light tries to win back customers in the US, the brand was slammed yet again recently for sponsoring a pride parade in Toronto “attended by naked men, children,” Fox News reports.

Meanwhile, Bud Light’s less watered-down sibling Budweiser is aggressively trying to portray itself as a beer of the American people, most recently partnering with non-profit org Folds of Honor in efforts to maintain a patriotic image.

Despite their best efforts, Bud Light sales have continued to tank, losing a $20 billion market cap in one of the most successful retail boycotts in history.
