Watch: Gov. Newsom Confronted Over ‘Trans’ Child Mutilation Surgeries

California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) was questioned Friday over his advocacy of “trans” minors receiving irreversible gender-bending surgeries.

Newsom was asked by an attorney and an independent journalist if he was aware of minors who’ve come to regret receiving major operations like mastectomies to “affirm” their trans identities and why he supports them when minors can’t be trusted to vote or purchase alcohol.

“Kids commit suicide 19 times more after having their body parts removed,” the attorney told him.

Newsom ignored the questions as he kept walking while his security detail kept the reporters away from him.

The Democrat governor had signed a bill into law last September offering “refuge” to so-called trans minors if extreme gender surgeries and treatments were banned in one of their respective states like Texas, Tennessee, Alabama, and Arkansas, which have all passed laws restricting such procedures in some form over the last year.

“In California we believe in equality and acceptance. We believe that no one should be prosecuted or persecuted for getting the care they need — including gender-affirming care,” Newsom had said.

“Parents know what’s best for their kids, and they should be able to make decisions around the health of their children without fear. We must take a stand for parental choice.”

Rather than defend his advocacy for child mutilation procedures, he and other Democrat officials are increasingly relying on media and Big Tech censorship to shut down any debate or dissent against it.
