US National Security Secretary Kirby ‘Cries’ On TV Over Hamas Attack
National Security Council coordinator for strategic communications for the Biden administration, John Kirby, broke down in tears during a CNN appearance discussing the recent Hamas attack on Israel.
Kirby said, “I uh… I… It… I’m sorry… It’s very difficult to look at these images. The human cost. And these are human beings, they are family members, they’re friends, they’re loved ones… cousins, brothers, sisters. Yeah, it’s difficult and I apologize.”
While Kirby may have truly been upset by the Israelis killed in the attack, many people pointed out he appeared to be forcing the crying fit and may have even been holding back a smile.
Social media users also pointed out the hypocritical nature of Kirby’s comments as scores of innocent Palestinians have also been brutally murdered by Israeli forces with little to no Western attention.
