Lefty Journalist Who Mocked Scott Adams Murder Prediction — Murdered At In Home Two Days Later

A Philadelphia homicide victim who criticized Dilbert creator Scott Adams over a failed prediction claiming Biden winning the presidency would result in more murders ironically met the same fate two days later.

Leftist journalist Josh Kruger who wrote for The Philadelphia Inquirer, the Philadelphia Citizen, LGBTQ Nation, and Billy Penn, tempted fate with a tweet last Friday on September 29 by highlighting an Adams tweet from July 2020 claiming, “If Biden is elected, there’s a good chance you will be dead within the year.”

Kruger last week quote retweeted Adams’ three-year-old tweet, mocking the prediction with a caption saying, “The Dilbert dude is like Nostradamus. Look at this prediction from 2020. Wow. Eerie.”

In a bizarre twist of irony, Kruger died two days after his fateful tweet, with officers saying he was shot inside his Philadelphia home by an unknown assailant.

The Philadelphia Inquirer has more on the circumstances behind Kruger’s death:

Detectives believe someone entered Kruger’s home, then shot him at the base of his stairs, [Deputy Police Commissioner Frank Vanore] said. The shooter fled, he said, and Kruger ran outside seeking help from neighbors.

No arrests have been made, he said, and there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Police are reviewing surveillance footage outside the rowhouse, he said.

“Either the door was open, or the offender knew how to get the door open,” he said. “We just don’t know yet.”

Detectives believe Kruger’s death may have been the result of a domestic dispute or may have been drug-related, according to three law enforcement sources with knowledge of the case. The sources, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss an ongoing investigation, said police investigators recovered troubling text messages between Kruger and a former partner. Investigators also recovered methamphetamine inside Kruger’s bedroom, the sources said.

Joking he may be considered a suspect, Adams wrote, “I have an alibi,” on X Monday.
