Breaking: Democrat Rep Illegally Pulls House Fire Alarm To Delay Vote On Stopgap Spending Bill

Democrat Rep. Jamaal Bowman (N.Y.) was caught on video pulling a fire alarm in the Cannon House office building on Saturday to delay a vote on a GOP stopgap spending bill to fund the government.

“Rep Jamaal Bowman pulled a fire alarm in Cannon this morning. An investigation into why it was pulled is underway,” House Administration Committee Chairman Bryan Steil stated.

Capitol Police are reportedly trying to locate him for questioning after releasing a photo of Bowman pulling the alarm.

House Republicans said Bowman should be prosecuted for committing the felony offense outlined in 18 USC 1512(c)(2).

As Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) pointed out, that statute Bowman violated is the same one the Department of Justice has cited to prosecute January 6 defendants.

House Republicans took to X to call for Bowman’s arrest.

The House was scheduled to vote on a 45-day “clean” stopgap funding bill that won’t include funding for Ukraine or border policy changes ahead of a midnight shutdown deadline.

Is there anything Democrats won’t do to keep taxpayer money flowing to Ukraine?
