Video: Washington Students Marched To Principal’s Office And Lectured For Wearing ‘There Are Only Two Genders’ Shirts

Yet another video has gone viral of students, this time in Washington, being disciplined by a teacher for expressing their opinion that there are only two genders.

The students, based at Klahowya Secondary School in Silverdale, were marched to the office by a teacher who lectured them that they were spreading ‘hate speech’ and promoting ‘exclusion’ for wearing shirts emblazoned with the phrase “There are only two genders.” 

The Washington Chapter of Gays Against Groomers (GAG), noted that the incident occurred last week, when a group of six students wore the shirts to school, prompting other students to seek out the apparel, and leading one of the student’s mothers to make 100 more shirts.

The footage captures the teacher decreeing that ‘Pride’ is synonymous with inclusivity, while their opinions reflect the opposite.

One of the students is heard responding “But that doesn’t make sense. There are only two genders…” before being interrupted by a teacher stating “No! Biologically, that’s not true! Scientifically, that’s not true.”

Following the incident, the school principal, to his credit, sent out an announcement that the shirts did not violate any rules and that the students should be allowed to wear them.

The students also captured an image of staff removing a US flag they had put up themselves under Pride banners that had been displayed inside the school by staff.

The school claims that it did so because “the flag was not posted in accordance with Federal Flag Code guidelines,” and further claims that after it was approved, the national flag was put back up.
