Round 2: Trump To Counter Second GOP Debate With United Autoworkers Union Rally
When GOP presidential candidates take the stage for their second debate on September 27, frontrunner Donald Trump will instead be speaking live at a rally with striking union members of the United Auto Workers (UAW) in Detroit, Michigan.
The decision is being reported by every mainstream media outlet with “sources familiar with the plan.”
Trump will join both union members and non-union workers as they strike for higher wages thanks to the record inflation under Joe Biden.
The former president will also call on vehicle manufacturers and the federal government to oppose Biden’s green electrical vehicle push that threatens workers’ jobs.
On Monday, Trump wrote on Truth Social, “The United Autoworkers are being sold down the ‘drain’ with this all electric car scam. They’ll be made in China, under crooked Joe’s China first policy. Autoworkers, vote for Trump – I’ll make you victorious & rich. If your ‘leaders’ won’t endorse me, vote them out of office, now. With the Democrats & Crooked Joe calling the shots, you’ll be jobless & penniless within 4 years. Remember, Biden is a crook who has been paid millions of dollars by China, & others. He is a Manchurian candidate!!!”
During the first GOP debate in August, Trump famously appeared on Tucker Carlson’s Twitter program for an interview that dwarfed the debate’s ratings and turned out to be one of the most viewed conversations in history.
Time will tell if Trump’s Detroit rally will eclipse the GOP presidential candidates once again.
