Laughable: White House Claims Biden “Reacted In Record Time” To Maui Fires
In the world of the White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, up is down and down is up. She claimed Wednesday that Joe Biden “reacted in record time” to the disaster in Maui, despite the fact that he refused to comment for a week and spent most of the fortnight before he visited the devastation on vacation.
Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked Jean-Pierre “Did you guys realize that the initial Hawaii wildfire response was not that good or is it just easier for people to get help from the White House when the president is not on vacation?”
Ouch.
The Press Secretary responded saying that Doocy’s question was “wrong” and claimed that “if you were to do your reporting and speak to the governor of Hawaii, the senators of Hawaii, the folks on the ground, they would say that the president reacted in record time when it came to dealing with the wildfires.”
Watch (check out the leftist stooge reporters wincing when Doocy asks the question):
Did everyone else miss something about the people on the ground in Maui being happy with Biden’s response?
Remarkably, during the same press briefing, Jean-Pierre told Doocy that the Biden administration is “stopping the flow” of illegal immigrants at the border, despite the fact that the barriers are literally welded open at the moment and encounters are at all time highs:
She’s just flat out lying.
Biden himself again TWICE repeated the claim Wednesday that his house almost burned to the ground and that’s very much like what happened in Maui, except for the fact that the story is also a complete lie:
He’s going on vacation again this weekend:
