Shock Video: Thief Rips Package From Delivery Driver’s Hand

An electronic device bound for a customer was stolen moments before it reached the doorstep in a brazen robbery caught on camera last week in Virginia, according to reports.

The shocking incident unfolded on Thursday morning in Chesterfield County.

A FedEx deliverywoman was approaching a residence with a box in hand when a thief walking behind her suddenly ripped the item from her grasp and ran off.

Footage of the heist captured by a Ring doorbell camera was provided to local media.

In the video, a black male can be seen trailing the FedEx worker as she walks toward the front door.

He snatches the box from her hand and runs to a BMW sedan parked on the street.

“I was in a meeting and then the FedEx lady started knocking on my door like, really hard,” homeowner Jessica Saenz told WRIC. “I’m like, ‘What’s going on?’”

The driver informed Saenz that a box containing an iPad her husband had ordered had been stolen.

“The Chesterfield County Police Department, which is handling the investigation into this incident, said it has already tied the white BMW seen in the video to another robbery that took place last month,” WRIC reports.

It is unclear if the suspect has been arrested at the time of this writing.
